Our Weekend = 2 soccer games + 8 Hockey Games. . . .

That totaled 3 ties, 4 loses, and 3 wins.  Taylor's hockey team won all three games in Dallas over the weekend.  They are working hard and playing like a team.  They seem to be becoming good friends.
Tommy and Spencer both tied in Soccer (Spencer's team still hasn't lost - knock on wood!)  Tommy tied his hockey game on Saturday night.  Now the loses . . . Spencer's team lost all three games over the weekend, I think if they keep working, they will get some wins going.  Tommy played at the Toyota Center on Sunday and his team lost to another Willowbrook team.   Everyone had fun though and got a lot of healthy exercise and team experience.  I think that helps them get along with others and solve problems. They will use that when the are adults.

No School Today ~

so we took a trip to the pumpkin patch!  {a lady asked me if I homed school -LOL}  Our school was off today - the teachers had a meeting to attend, so we did this:

 The past week {or was it two weeks ago  ~  I am so behind on this blog}  it was  my dad's, mom's and Tom's Birthdays.  Tommy's team tied 1 to 1 on their first soccer game, Spencer's team won 5-4 {I wasn't there to take photos} Then after soccer Spencer went to Dallas to play 3 hockey games and the first game they won and everyone said Spencer made a great save in the last 22 seconds to keep the other team from making the game a tie.    Unfortunately, they lost the next two games.

 The weather finally got cool in Houston, with the mornings being in the  low 60's . . . so, I went to walk in Terry Hershey Park.  I took some photos of the blue sky and I did some artsy-fartsy shots of a bridge that I was under and then I flipped the photo.

 Tommy had his first hockey game - he is playing house hockey at Willowbrook and he scored a goal that made the score 2-2 {they did end up losing 5-3)  but I was so excited he scored a really cool goal from the boards on the side of  the net that ricocheted in the net.
