We had a surprise birthday party for Spencer and it was really a surprise since his birthday was over two months ago. We got busy with back to school and hockey and he never did have a party for his 10th birthday. We had 3 friends come over and he was very surprised because he had been told - no one can spend the night, you have to do homework and read, so he was so happy to have three buddies over and NOT have to read. Here he is blowing out his candles...

Looking shy while we sing " happy birthday"...

The ice cream cake with candles...

Playing with Oreo while we sing....

A Mickey Balloon ...

The table of food...

The "green" cake...

The night of this party, Tommy had a hockey game in Clear Lake and so Tom took him and he ended up scoring two goals and almost got a hat trick. Everyone has been saying to me how good he played - that he was on fire. I hope he keeps it up. Taylor had an ISHL game on Saturday and they lost 5-1 {it was a big team with a lot of sophomores}, then he had a scrimmage on the Wild vs an ISHL team and they won 7-0. Spencer had a hockey game on Sunday and they won 3-2, his friend and goalie from his past teams was the goalie on the other team. The goalie played very well. Tommy and Spencer had soccer games on Saturday, Tommy tied 2-2 {his buddy Luke} made the two goals and Spencer's team got slaughtered - we won't even talk about it. This is the last week of soccer, so just Hockey now until basketball starts.
