I read that this type of screech owl is tame and will live in an Owl House - maybe I will get an Owl house for him. I hope I see him again!

Guess "Who" came by our house last night?
This little owl was sitting on our mail box last night - he was so cute, I got two shots before he flew off - one was blurry. I thought he was a baby owl, but I have been told it is an adult Eastern Screech Owl. We have been at our house 10 years and this is the first owl I have seen in our yard - I did hit one with my car in another neighborhood while coming home from hockey practice a few years ago.
