I promise to try to keep the blog updated - anyway is a quick update: we went to a Texans game, Taylor's football team were the cheerleaders during the pep-rally for homecoming and the season has been fun - the team has won every football game since they lost to St Vincent's on September 16th - and now they are going to the championship game this weekend to play .... ST Vincent's - we think they can beat them. Check back next week for the update. The 8th grade had to carry around sacks of flour that were their babies for a week. During one football practice, I got to "babysit" four bags of flour - I mean babies. Taylor's hockey team has been playing scrimages to get ready for the next NTXHL games in November, they look like they are playing good together. Taylor got a goal from the blue line on Saturday. His prep team ( a local team he is playing on with his friend John) start this weekend - we are not sure when the football game is yet.
We went to a Dynamos game (soccer) and they were playing the team David Beckham is on, he took his shirt off and gave it to a fan and then walked right by us - he had a lot of tattoos so, to me - he looked better with his shirt on. The game ended tied 0-0.
We took Spencer off the travel hockey team he was on - he just couldn't do what the coach wanted and it wasn't fair to do that to him. He is very happy on the Hitmen Red house team and his coach is the first Coach Taylor had when he was 9. He is still going to practice with the travel team. Tommy has been all over the place in hockey, forward, center, goalie and a defenseman- on Sunday, he was goalie and they won 6-1, he had a shut-out going for over half the game. His soccer team won their game on Saturday, 1-0 and he scored the one goal. He played the last half of the game on defense. Poor Spencer's soccer team - they have not won a game or scored a goal- but they are having fun and getting lots of exercise. I think they will get it together this weekend. With all this rain - it is hard to practice. On Friday the 8th grade had a halloween dance and Taylor was Michael Jackson - another boy was also MJ - Taylor is the one with the gold jacket. I had him watch Mj perform Billy Jean before he went to the dance.
Well - this is how our October has been - Fall is Fun!
