Three Boys, A Dog, Lots of Sports - and School?

I went to Dallas last weekend to the scheduling meeting for NTXHL - to make the game schedule for Taylor's team. I didn't get the divisions before I went - this year it is A1 and A2 for the A division - I was confused - I thought it would be A Red and A Blue like last year - (we actually wanted to be in B - but there were not enough B teams) so we are with Odessa and they played very well in the tournament - they beat the team that beat Taylor's team {Houston Wild} 13-0 - so the team has some work to do. (I thought that team played like an AA team) - so I wonder about Odessa - they will be a challenge and a learning experience for the team, but Taylor loves his team and his coach - he and some of the boys from his old team were so happy - even though they lost by that much. I guess that is all that matters - that the boys have fun and get to play hockey. The last game of the Labor Day Tournament - they were down 4-0 and they came back and tied the game, they lost in a shoot-out. So we did see a good game and the boys not give up and play good together after only having 3 practices. Look at the birdies ~ {I love my new blue birdie planner -shown above with my notes from the meeting.} I got to stay in a Hotel by myself last Saturday night - it was the Omni - I love that hotel. I got there late in the afternoon and it was raining and I just stayed in the room the whole night. We were in the meeting from 9 am -1 pm and I still have two games to schedule - we had so many out of town {not in Dallas} that it was hard to schedule. All the boys teams have practices and scrimmages set up for the next few weeks and then in October the season starts for our boys - I think it will be a fun season!
